Hiya my cherished readers! Happy new year to you all. May 2021 be full of laughter and good times for us all….

2020 has come to an end finally and the following are what I have learnt and I hope you find them useful. ⠀⠀⠀
Cherish Your Loved Ones⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make time for them and ensure that nothing goes unspoken; you just have to look closely and find the appropriate time to say whatever is on your heart to them. One thing I know for sure is our hearts (good or bad) when spoken in a reasonable manner mends relationships even if it’s not immediately. I have learnt to work on keeping relationships. See! People will hurt you but have you asked yourself if you have not hurt anyone?
Appreciate them by words of affirmation, gift exchange, words of encouragement, acts of service just to mention a few.
So many people have lost loved ones in year 2020, due to the pandemic or other reasons.
Cherish your loved ones by making the effort to relate to them in a way that when they are no more, your last encounter with them will put a smile on your face.
Its Okay Not to Know
In this current dispensation, everyone expects you to know. But if you don’t know something, don’t feel bad that you don’t know. Just ask. Never feign that you know meanwhile you know not. Let yourself loose and ask questions and if “they” feel you’re dumb by asking questions, hold your head high and research. Don’t let pride fool you.
Take Yourself Out On A Date
Boredom can be an illness okay so don’t wait to get sick. Dress up, show up and go out. Yes! Take yourself out on a date. Don’t wait for anyone to take you out if you have the means to do so. It can be a simple walk at the beach. It doesn’t have to be expensive. But hey, when you’re out there, be careful you don’t fall prey to a temptation.
Don’t Beat Yourself Up Too Much
Forgiving myself quickly so that I can forgive others and love them has been another thing I’ve learnt in 2020. I tell you it’s not easy. Life itself isn’t easy so don’t be hard on yourself. Soften your heart. Meditating on the word of God has helped me a lot. Finally pray and let the Holy Spirit help you, its going to be process.
What have you learnt in 2020?
