Hello loves! Hope you are doing well ? Over the past weeks I have been yearning to share with you some scriptures about prayer. It is a very good thing when we communicate to God, our Maker in our quest to see what works for our hair, skin and all of that. Yes! I know this post is totally out of the way as many of you may feel that this blog is for natural hair only. A BIG NO! I share everything in between as well and this sort is no exception. Have you ever asked yourself if you have a prayer life? You do not have to stand in an overt place so people know you have a prayer life. It is communication with God anytime, anywhere.

Today, many things like social media, work, family and relationship responsibilities take a chunk of our time that we have no or less time with God. It is good to have the fore-mentioned and strive to keep them. In fact, social media for example, has really helped me in diverse ways and I don’t think I am turning my back on it. What is not right however, is when or if I (you) allow most of my (your) time to be exhausted by social media. Last week my phone got spoilt and that has really taught me a lesson. That meant no social media, no blogging, no calls!  During that time, I really came to the realization of the need to allocate quality  time for God. Not just the allocation of quality time but follow that and make it a lifetime activity. Do not get me wrong! I know we all have time for God but sometimes we just forget or look at time pass and say “I will tomorrow” when in fact, there is no tomorrow. I share these thirteen scriptures about prayer. Please comment below if you have other scriptures we all can learn. I pray the Lord blesses you even as you read them. May our prayer lives be rekindled in Jesus’ name.
